The German Minister of Health announced on Friday that he has declared a national emergency due to the sharp increase in the number of cases of the Corona virus in this country.
The daily death toll from the coronavirus in Germany has risen the most in more than five months in recent weeks, and lawmakers are debating how to curb the fourth wave of the epidemic.
According to Bloomberg, with less than 70 percent complete vaccination against the disease, Europe's largest economy lags behind its Western counterparts such as Spain, Italy and Portugal, causing Germany to face a new wave of outbreaks. The daily incidence rate in Germany is breaking records set last winter, when the population of this European country was largely defenseless against the corona.
