US Vice President Ashley Etienne has resigned following reports of internal disputes among staff at the office of Kamala Harris, the US vice president.
Etienne was a former member of the House of Representatives's Nancy Pelosi's office, but joined Kamala Harris shortly after Joe Biden won the US presidential election. she had said at the time that she would only be with Harris for a year.
The White House said in a statement to the Daily Mail that Etienne plans to step down in December to pursue other plans. The White House official said:

The Biden government's one-year anniversary will come in January 2022, but according to the statement, Etienne will leave Kamala Harris in December 2021.
