Thursday, 18 November 2021 (YJC)_The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 5,882 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Thursday that 5,882 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 862 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 5,882 COVID-19 infections and 103 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 6,063,775.”
103 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 128,634,” the ministry added.
“3,439 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 5,746,487 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
“37,468,072 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “26 cities are rated red, 87 cities are orange, 222 cities are yellow, and 113 cities are blue.”
According to the latest figures, more than 256,086,663 people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus globally, with the deaths standing 5,143,855 and recoveries amounting to 231,369,114.
