Thursday, 18 November 2021 (YJC)_ The United States and the Gulf states have claimed that they want strong economic ties with Iran after the lifting of sanctions.

Claiming the agreement of the United States and the Arab countries for strong economic relations with IranAccording to Al Jazeera, the US State Department said in a statement that Washington and the GCC member states are examining diplomatic channels with Iran to contain and control the existing tension.

The statement stressed that the United States and the Gulf states had agreed to have strong economic ties with Tehran after the lifting of sanctions on Iran.

Al-Mayadin also issued a joint statement from the United States and the Gulf Cooperation Council, which reads:
Iran has a better alternative to ongoing tensions and can contribute to a safer region.

The statement added:
The expansion of economic relations with Iran after the lifting of sanctions is in the interest of the region. We welcome the seventh round of forthcoming talks on the nuclear deal in Vienna.
