Wednesday, 17 November 2021 (YJC)_ The commander of Sistan and Baluchestan police said that his forces have seized 3 tons of drugs.
The commander of Sistan and Baluchestan police, Second Brigadier General Ahmad Taheri announced that that his forces have seized 3 tons of drugs.
“The largest drug smuggling band in the southeast of the country were busted following the intelligence activities of the police forces of the province,” he said.
“All of the 8 members of the band were arrested in Zahedan,” he added while noting that “8 vehicles and 3.049 tons of various kinds of illicit drugs, consisting of opium, hashish and crystal were seized.”
Finally, he announced that “four weapons and some ammunitions were also seized during the operation.”
