Tuesday, 16 November 2021 (YJC)_ Spokesman for Iran's foreign ministry blamed the failure of US plans to launch a nationwide riot in Cuba on sympathy between the people and the Cuban government, and condemned US interference in the country's affairs.
Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, today (Tuesday) called the failure of US planning to launch a nationwide unrest in the Republic of Cuba due to empathy between the people and the Cuban government and described this cohesion as valuable.
A State Department spokesman condemned the apparent US interference in the internal affairs of independent and liberal countries, including Cuba, and called for an immediate end to US economic and financial and unilateral sanctions against Cuba.
Khatibzadeh stated:
The sanctions were imposed with the aim of creating discontent among the people, and the United States, while being the main cause of the Cuban people's livelihood problems, has emerged as a supporter of the unrest in the country and is openly interfering in the republic's internal affairs by violating international law.
A State Department spokesman noted:
The Islamic Republic of Iran, in its principled position, while declaring its solidarity with Cuba, reiterates the illegal US sanctions, which are the main and important cause of the current livelihood and economic difficulties of this country, and declares that the United States in its claim to support the Cuban people It is right to end its illegitimate economic-financial sanctions against Cuba that have lasted for more than six decades.
A spokesman for the diplomatic corps concluded:
As US destabilizing efforts have failed in recent days, the government and people of the Republic of Cuba have overcome the challenges ahead by managing and interacting with each other, and the delusion of Cuban interlocutors to achieve their goal through destabilization.
According to Fars, Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, condemned the US and Western interference in the recent protests in Cuba and called for an immediate end to US unilateral sanctions against the country.
