Monday, 15 November 2021 (YJC)_ The IRGC Naval Engineering Unit participated in the reopening of roads and providing relief to the earthquake victims by attending the earthquake-stricken areas of Hormozgan.
In the early hours of the Hormozgan earthquake, the IRGC Naval Engineering Unit at the main epicenter of the Bandar Abbas earthquake, Gishan Bakhsh Fin village, sent heavy machinery to remove debris and reopen passages and roads.
Then, the reopening of the 30 km long Sirjan-Bandar Abbas transportation road, which was blocked by an earthquake and a mountain fall, was completed by the efforts of the IRGC Naval Engineering Unit by 5:00 AM.
The commander of the IRGC navy said:
We are with the people, and whenever and wherever needed, we will all enter with all the equipment, so that, God willing, the suffering of the people will be reduced.
Admiral Tangsiri added:
The engineering teams of this force are present on the site with engineering machines and relief groups, and more groups will be sent if needed.
