Sunday, 14 November 2021 (YJC)_Iranian foreign minister said that Iran’s policy is to remove the illegal and cruel US sanctions in the upcoming Vienna talks.
Addressing a group of analysts, university professors, media activists and Iranian ambassadors Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian that Iran’s policy is to remove the illegal and cruel US sanctions in the upcoming Vienna talks.
He said Iran has good faith in the resumption of the Vienna talks and said that Iran's policy in resuming Vienna talks is lifting the oppressive, illegal and unilateral US sanctions.
Regarding Iran’s good faith he said “Despite the violation of the JCPOA commitments and withdrawal from the deal, and the violation of Resolution 2231 by the United States and the inaction of European member states Iran stayed committed to the deal for a long time.”
Previously and in a phone conversation with his German counterpart, Iranian foreign minister took US administration responsible for nuclear deal problems.
“The US administration is the main culprit in creating current situation in issues related to JCPOA,” Iranian FM said.
Amir-Abdollahian also had a phone talk with UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, in which he stressed the need for taking US accountable for the current situation and called some other JCPOA parties responsible for that as well.
He also related the success of Vienna talks to the “lifting of all sanctions against Tehran, the return of all parties to their commitments, and providing the necessary guarantees for the implementation of the results of the talks and the verification of the other sides' actions.”
