The Taliban say three of the perpetrators of Friday blasts on worshipers at a mosque in the town of Spinaghar in Nangarhar province have been arrested.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban's central spokesman, wrote on his Twitter account that the perpetrators of the attack would be dealt with in accordance with Islamic law.
A bomb blast inside a mosque in Nangarhar province's Spinaghar district on Friday killed and injured a number of civilians.
Qari Mohammad Hanif, a spokesman for the province, said the blast took place in the Trail area when local residents were offering Friday prayers.
The Taliban spokesman also added that at least 15 people were injured in the blast, but local residents said the death toll was higher.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast, but ISIL's Khorasan branch has previously claimed responsibility for similar attacks.
According to officials, an explosion in the trailer area of Spingar city of Nangarhar left 3 dead and 15 injured.
