Former US ambassador to the United Nations Nicki Haley no longer fears the United States in a Twitter message written by Iran.
Haley wrote in response to a US media report that Yemeni Ansarullah forces had arrested a number of staff at the US Embassy in Sanaa following the attack:
Thanks to Biden, Iran is no longer afraid of the United States. We stand by them as they attack US forces in Syria or take our staff hostage in Yemen. America is better than this.
Nicki Haley did not elaborate on how the alleged attack on the US embassy in Sanaa was related to Iran, but US media referred to Ansarullah forces as "Iranian-backed forces".
The Bloomberg News website claimed for the first time on Tuesday that at least 25 Yemeni staff members of the US Embassy in Sanaa and the US Agency for International Development had been arrested. On Thursday evening, the Washington-based Bacon base reiterated this claim.
Nicki Haley is an official in the administration of former US President Donald Trump and a supporter of the policy of maximum pressure against Iran.
