Lebanese sources reported that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will visit Iran next week.
Al-Jumhuriyah newspaper reported this morning (Friday) that the Turkish Foreign Minister will arrive in Beirut next Tuesday after visiting Iran.
However, there is no mention of who this Turkish official will meet in Iran and for what purpose he will enter Tehran.
The Lebanese newspaper added that Cavusoglu will meet with many high-ranking Lebanese officials after arriving in Beirut to reiterate Turkey's support for the Lebanese government.
According to the report, the Turkish Foreign Minister will also ask Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati to visit Ankara again on behalf of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
