Wednesday, 10 November 2021 (YJC)_ The Sothys tanker was released after draining the oil of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that the confiscated oil tanker Sothys was released by a court order after draining the oil of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bandar Abbas.
On November 3, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced in a statement:
With timely and authoritative action, the heroic navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the US Navy terrorist operation to steal the oil of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Sea of Oman failed. In doing so, the Americans hijacked an Iranian oil tanker in the waters of the Oman Sea and diverted the oil shipment to another unknown destination.
