The French government announced on Tuesday that French ministers would meet with their Russian counterparts later this week to discuss a range of issues, including security in the coastal region of Africa, Iran, Ukraine and Afghanistan.
A joint statement issued by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French Ministry of the Armed Forces stated that France will express its concerns about Russia's activities in the coastal region during its November 12 meeting.
Russian and French officials will hold talks on Iran as talks between Iran and the P5+1 group on the revival of the nuclear deal are scheduled for November 29 in Vienna, Austria.
