Tuesday, 9 November 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 8,305 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Tuesday that 8,305 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 1,203 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 8,305 COVID-19 infections and 140 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 6,004,460.”
112 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 127,551,” the ministry added.
“3,640 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 5,629,596 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
The ministry also added that more than 36,502,080 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country while warning that “33 cities are rated red, 95 cities are orange, 220 cities are yellow, and 100 cities are blue.”
According to the latest figures, more than 251,254,022 people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus globally, with the deaths standing 5,075,040 and recoveries amounting to 227,470,802.
