As the hunger strike of several Palestinian prisoners continues and the Zionist regime ignores them, "Khidr Habib", a senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, today (Tuesday) blamed Tel Aviv for the prisoners' lives.
According to the Sama news agency, he emphasized:
The Palestinian people will not leave the captives alone and will be ready to start a war if any captive is martyred.
Khedr Habib added at a rally organized by Islamic Jihad in support of the prisoners that the prisoners would stop fighting only after their demands were met.
He continued:
Six prisoners have gone on a hunger strike in response to administrative or temporary detention insisted by the Israeli and Shabak prisons, some of whom have been on hunger strike for more than 115 days. The period of defeat has passed and the captives will not surrender.
Habib then called on the United Nations and human rights organizations to help the detainees and told them: What are you waiting for? Are you waiting for the martyrdom of the captives?
