Monday, 8 November 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 8,341 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Monday that 8,341 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 1,164 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 8,341 COVID-19 infections and 140 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 5,996,155.”
140 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 127,439,” the ministry added.
“3,669 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 5,615,460 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
The ministry also added that more than 36,391,778 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country while warning that “33 cities are rated red, 95 cities are orange, 220 cities are yellow, and 100 cities are blue.”
