Monday, 8 November 2021 (YJC)_ In an unannounced visit to Iraq, the Commander of Iran's IRGC Quds Force met with the Iraqi Prime Minister.
A Lebanese source announced that in an unannounced visit to Iraq, the Commander of Iran's IRGC Quds Force General Esmail Ghaani met with the Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi.
It is also noted that General Ghaani have met with other Iraqi officials apart from the country’s Prime Minister.
Another source said that Ghaani met with Iraqi President Barham Salih.
In his meeting, General Ghaani stressed the necessity of avoiding any action that threatens the security of Iraq and said that what the country needs are stability and internal unity.
Ghaani also stressed the importance of fulfilling the demands of the Iraqi people and protesters in a legal way.
