Monday, 8 November 2021 (YJC)_ The Commander of the Navy stated that the purpose of holding the 1400th Zulfiqar Exercise was to coordinate the forces.
Admiral Shahram Irani, Commander of the Navy of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said on the sidelines of the 1400th Zulfiqar Joint Exercise:
The purpose of holding the Zulfiqar 1400 exercise was to coordinate the forces and transfer knowledge and experience to the young elements who are working in the operational body of the four forces of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He mentioned the announcement of the capability of the armed forces, and in particular the strategic navy of the army, in ensuring the security of the country's interests and familiarizing the young personnel with the real scenes of the battle as other objectives of this exercise.
Referring to the missions of various naval units of the army in the fight against terrorism and piracy, and the escort of merchant ships and tankers, the commander of the navy said:
My comrades in the navy have secured the country's economic artery by escorting ships and tankers, as well as merchant ships.
Admiral Irani stated that we have a message for all our dear friend and brother countries to know that today the Islamic Republic of Iran has a lot to say on the battlefield and operations to say:
We send the message to everyone that whenever Iranians are spoken to with respect, the Iranians will certainly be treated with respect, and if not, they will certainly face a decisive response.
