Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, Commander of the Central Headquarters of Hazrat Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) in the presence of the commanders of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the joint Zulfiqar 1400 exercise, stated:
The Army of the Islamic Republic and the Armed Forces are always ready for a strategic, operational and tactical confrontation, to maintain security stability and the existence and territorial integrity of dear Iran, as well as regional position and power against the coalition of enemies, specifically the US-Zionist coalition.
He added:
Today, in this large exercise that is being carried out in the general area of the south of Sistan and Baluchestan province and Hormozgan province and the shores of Makran and the northern Indian Ocean, we witnessed the high preparations and capabilities of the navy, land, air and air defense of the army, which is a source of pride. During the year, the army and IRGC forces conduct numerous air, ground, air and naval defense exercises.
General Rashid mentioned the greatest lesson and experience of 8 years of holy defense as the necessity of having military power to respond powerfully to threats and noted:
Threats from any arrogant aggressor power at any level and from any origin, our armed forces, including the army and the corps, suppress it.
The Commander of the Central Headquarters of Hazrat Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) continued:
The army, the IRGC and the sons of Rashid have built the country's defense force on the basis of the national, historical and strategic heritage of 8 years of holy defense to prevent the miscalculation of the invaders of this land.
In the end, he said:
We have learned the components of power and how to use it from the experiences of crisis and war, and we hope that the enemies will refrain from testing the will and power of our army and corps.
