Abdul Razzaq Davud, Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Trade and Investment (Acting Minister of Commerce of Pakistan) said in a meeting with the Minister of Jihad Agriculture of our country:
Currently, trade and economic relations between Iran and Pakistan have nothing to do with the history of relations between the two countries, and we hope to be able to change this situation.
He added:
In this region, there is a need for a connection between Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, in which Iran and Pakistan are the most important countries, without Iran this connection will not reach its final capacity.
Davud continued:
Any improvement in trade and economic cooperation with Iran is very important, and the volume of trade between the two countries, especially in the field of agriculture, must be expanded.
Referring to the capacity of cleanliness in the two countries, he said:
Pakistan has rice and Iran has oil and petrochemicals that we can refine these goods together.
The Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Trade and Investment stated:
We are aware of the sanctions situation in Iran and we are looking for a mechanism to establish an effective and useful relationship with Iran, so we propose purity.
He added:
We have the possibility of exporting products such as quinoa, mango and citrus to Iran and we hope that the existing problems for trade exchanges will be resolved in the shadow of relations with Iran.
