Sunday, 7 November 2021 (YJC)_ Spokesman for the 1400th Army Zulfiqar Exercise announced the destruction of surface targets by the Army Air Force F-4 bombers.
On the first day of the main phase of the Zulfiqar 1400 Army Joint Exercise, the Army Air Force F-4 bomber flew long-range flights from its bases to the general training area and conducted aerial refueling operations from the tanker aircraft, using optimized missiles. The new generation of optimized surface air destroyed their surface targets in the general rehearsal area.
Admiral Amir Seyed Mahmoud Mousavi, spokesman for the Zulfiqar 1400 Army Joint Exercise, said:
The use of updated surface-to-air anti-ship missiles at this stage of the exercise, as well as the conduct of operations by young Army Air Force pilots, were among the strengths of this phase of the exercise.
He added:
Also in another part of the exercise, Nahaja F-4 fighter jets successfully fired at moving naval targets with the aim of supporting the Navy's surface units (Splash target).
