Saturday, 6 November 2021 (YJC)_ The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps seized the ringleaders of a group which attempted to act against security of Iran.
In a statement on Saturday, the IRGC’s Imam Hassan Mojtaba base in Alborz Province announced that the ringleaders of the so-called White Uprising Movement have been taken into the custody by its forces.
This group had planned to disrupt public security and order, carry out acts of sabotage, and create riots in the province and the country, they have also distributed night letters in the streets, deceived some naive people and hired thugs to implement their schemes.
In a part of the statement, it is mentioned that “Actions and movements of this group has been monitored from the very beginning, and due to the vigilance of intelligence and security forces of the country, they were able to arrested and sent to prison the members of the group in a timely and revolutionary action. Unknown soldiers of Imam Hassan Mojtaba base operate this complex operation.”
It is also mentioned that “All members of the White Uprising Movement were identified by the province's intelligence community and the movements of dissident groups are being closely monitored.”
“IRGC forces' redline is the security of the people therefore the forces will spare no efforts to maintain tranquility,” the statement added.
In the first 6 months of the current Iranian year (started on March 21), Security and intelligence forces dismantled 78 gangs in Iran which smuggled weapons and ammunition to the country. As a result, 2,170 weapons, including 473 guns, 685 hunting weapons, 782 small arms and 230 other types of weapons were discovered and 201 people were arrested and handed over to the judicial authority.
