Iranian Karateka Sajjad Ganjzadeh defeated his rival from Bosnia in semifinal to advance to the final of Karate World Championships Bremen 2014.
Earlier, Ganjzadeh managed to beat rivals from Hungary, Italy, Brazil and Egypt in the +84 kg category.
As Iran's first finalist in 22nd Karate World Championships, he will face karatekas from Turkey and Spain to win gold medal.
The 22nd Karate World Championships attended by representatives from 116 countries opened Wednesday and will continue until November 9.
