The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces released a statement in which indicated that the recent developments in the region and the world show the decline of the US power.
The statement release to commemorate the anniversary of the US embassy takeover by students as a symbol of the nation’s resistance against global arrogance and said that this occasion in particular shows Iranians’ “oppression-fighting, freedom-seeking, resistance and perseverance” against the greed and hegemonic policies of the criminal US regime.”
The statement said “after over 4 decades of the Islamic Republic’s blessed existence, inhumane conspiracies of the American terrorist regime and the fake Zionist regime are still against the people and the government.”
Furthermore, “Draconian sanctions, attempts to hamper Iran’s nuclear progress, the assassination of the country’s nuclear scientists, the assassination of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, and the destabilization of the country by different means, such as the latest cyber-attack on gas stations,” were named as the crimes by the “terrorist-nurturing” US regime and its allies against Iran.
The Iranian Armed Forces' Chief of Staff also said that “However, our nation has managed to made the United States’ fake and evil grandeur throughout the world face failure.”
