Thursday, 4 November 2021 (YJC)_ The European Union (EU) has said in a statement that the seventh round of talks in Vienna will focus on ensuring the full and effective implementation of the Iran nuclear deal.
The European Union (EU) yesterday (Wednesday) reacted to a statement by Ali Bagheri, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the timing of the seventh round of Vienna talks to revive the JCPOA.
According to the European Union's information base, the preamble to the meeting's format stated:
The Joint Commission of the JCPOA will hold a meeting on November 29 (December 28) in the form of a face-to-face meeting.
In the continuation of this meeting, the presence of the 4 + 1 countries and the representative of the European Union was specified:
The Joint Commission will be chaired by Enrique Mora, Deputy Secretary-General and Political Director of the European External Action Service, and will be chaired by EU High Representative Joseph Borrell. Representatives from China, France, Germany, Russia, Britain and Iran will also attend.
At the end of its statement on the focus of the forthcoming Vienna talks, the European Union said:
The participants continue their discussions on the prospect of a possible US return to the JCPOA and how to ensure full and effective implementation of the agreement by all parties.
