Wednesday, 3 November 2021 (YJC)_ While appreciating nations support, Iranian Parliament Speaker said that the arrogant powers have failed to attain their goals against Iran.
Addressing an open session of the Parliament on the occasion of November 3(Tthe takeover of the former US embassy in Tehran by Muslim students) Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf appreciated the nation's support and said that the arrogant powers have failed to attain their goals against Iran.
“Iranian people have always been the epitome of taking wise steps since the victory of the Islamic Revolution,” he said while adding that “The best and most important strategy to confront the Global Arrogance is resolving the economic problems.”
He went on to name the wisest and logical social movement taken by Iranians as “Confronting oppressive powers, defending the interests of the country as well as the national unity and security,” while calling the strategies instructed by the founding father of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini (RA) and also Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei as “The wisest decision to secure national interests with its focus on confronting Global Arrogance.”
Ghalibaf also named “National Security” as the most important component that should be taken into serious consideration while adding that “Since the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution, Global Arrogance took any way possible to ruin the image of the Islamic Revolution of Iran but their plots have doomed to failure.”
Iranian university students took over the US embassy building to thwart what they called Washington's plots against the Islamic Revolution on November 3.
