Tuesday, 2 November 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 10,104 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Tuesday that 10,104 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 1,344 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 10,104 COVID-19 infections and 160 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 5,944,599.”
160 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 126,616,” the ministry added.
“3,818 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 5,534,667 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
The ministry also added that more than 35,726,294 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country while warning that “22 cities are rated red, 114 cities are orange, 201 cities are yellow, and 111 cities are blue.”
According to the latest figures, more than 248,023,066 people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus globally, with the deaths standing 5,024,253 and recoveries amounting to 224,662,654.
