Tuesday, 2 November 2021 (YJC)_ Commander of Iran's Border Guards Police announced that his forces dismantled an arms-smuggling band in North West of the country.
In a statement on Tuesday, Commander of Iran's Border Guards Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ali Goudarzi announced that his forces dismantled an arms-smuggling band in North West of the country.
By taking timely and accurate action, Border guards of the Urmia Border Regiment prevent a shipment of illegal weapons to enter the country,” he said.
“240 weapons including 175 hunting rifles, 65 pistols and 6 boxes of weapon accessories were seized during this operation,” General Goudarzi added.
Finally, he announced that “The smugglers fled the scene and the border guards are doing their best to identify and arrest them.”
