Tuesday, 2 November 2021 (YJC)_ Commander of the Iranian Army’s Air Defense Force said the US’ cruel sanctions against the country have failed to prevent progress of missile industries.
Commander of the Iranian Army’s Air Defense Force Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi Fard said the cruel sanctions imposed by US administration were in capable of impeding progress of missile industries in the country.
“In spite of the oppressive and cruel sanctions imposed by the United States against Iran, the Iranian Army Air Defense Force made a significant progress in all fields of radar, missile, drone (UAV) and cyber systems,” Gen. Sabahi Fard said.
He went on to refer to the success of the Army Air Defense in using various radar and missile systems in its recent military exercises, and added “Relying upon its self-confidence the Army Air Defense Force has grown.”
Finally, he said “Only a part of the missile capability of this Force can be seen vividly in the recent military drills conducted by Iran’s Army Air Defense.”
Previously, General Alireza Sabahifard said the country’s Armed Forces are equipped and ready to carry out any type of drone operations while announcing that “As Armed Forces are equipped with world’s most modern air defense system, they can enjoy a very high capability to carry out any drone operation of any type successfully.”
