Tuesday, 2 November 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Foreign Minister stated: We carefully measure Biden's behavior.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, tweeted today (Tuesday):
The White House calls for negotiations with Iran and claims to be ready to return to the JCPOA, but at the same time imposes new sanctions on Iranian individuals and companies.
He added:
We carefully measure Mr. Biden's behavior. The purpose of negotiation is not just to talk, but to make tangible agreement and respect for mutual interests.
Amir Abdullahian added:
The P4+1 should be ready for negotiations based on mutual interests and rights.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh also told a weekly news conference on Monday about Sullivan's remarks that he was ready to return to talks in good faith with Iran.
I hope what you said about Sullivan is true. The actions and plans pursued by the Biden government to this day run counter to Mr. Sullivan's intentions. We have heard enough and we are waiting for an action that has been delayed for months.
