Tuesday, 2 November 2021 (YJC)_ Spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry tweeted: "It is the responsibility of the President of the United States to convince the international community - including all members of the UN Security Council - that his signature really makes sense.
"Saeed Khatibzadeh," spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, wrote on Twitter, referring to the tweet of Republican Sen. Ted Cruz:
The world really knows what Mr. Cruz is acknowledging: that regimes in Washington are rebellious.
He added:
It is the responsibility of the President of the United States to convince the international community - including all members of the JCPOA - that his signature really makes sense.
Khatibzadeh added:
This requires objective guarantees. No one accepts anything less than this.
Ted Cruz tweeted:
If any agreement with Iran is not ratified by the Senate as a treaty - which Biden knows will not happen - any Republican president will surely break it in the future.
