Monday, 1 November 2021 (YJC)_ Head of Iran Customs Administration announced that transit of goods from the country’s borders has witnessed a considerable growth.
Head of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Mehdi Mirasharfi announced that during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021-October 23, 2021) transit of goods from the country’s borders has witnessed a considerable growth.
He compared the transit growth to the same period of the previous year and said it showed a significant 81 percent growth.
"23.5 million tons of non-oil goods, valued at $27.7 billion, were imported into the country via customs offices, which shows a 21 and 38 percent increase in terms of weight and value compared to the last year,” he said.
