Monday, 1 November 2021 (YJC)_ The Zionist regime's media reported that the regime had canceled a plan to buy land for settlers in the West Bank for fear of escalating tensions in the West Bank.

For fear of tension in the West Bank; Tel Aviv cancels land purchase plan for settlersLast week, Zionist Minister of War Bani Gantz specifically notified the Supreme Court of the abolition of the plan to allow settlers to buy land in the West Bank.

The Zionist newspaper Haaretz reported that Gantz's move was aimed at preventing tensions with the PA.

Gantz told the court that now is not the time to implement changes to the law on renting and selling real estate.

According to Haaretz, in recent years there have been discussions within the Israeli military and security establishment aimed at repealing Jordanian law in the West Bank. Under the law, only Palestinians, Jordanians and citizens of other Arab countries are allowed to buy land in the West Bank, and Jews are only allowed to buy and sell property through some well-known civil companies.
