Lebanon's Hezbollah has stressed that Riyadh's tensions with Beirut are part of Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's concern about the consequences of the liberation of Yemen's Ma'rib province by the Ansarullah movement.
Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, chairman of the Lebanese Hezbollah Executive Council, said in a statement:
It can not be imagined that the issue is related to a comment (Lebanese Minister of Information criticizes the war in Yemen), but it is more than that.
He added:
What is happening in Saudi Arabia is a big thing, because the Saudis and the Gulf countries in general, who followed the path of relations with Israel, can no longer tolerate the voice of Lebanese and other critics of Saudi-Israeli relations, which It will be made public in the coming days.
Safiyuddin said:
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is in a state of anxiety and will face great hardship after the fall of Ma'rib. He has the fear and anxiety of losing all his illusions, and what Lebanon is facing stems from this fear of bin Salman.
The head of the Lebanese Hezbollah Executive Council said:
Those who seek to suspend the work of the government through the crisis or to strike at the stability of Lebanon and the escalation of US or Saudi sanctions want to destroy Lebanon while we tried and shed blood so that our country would not be drawn into a civil war and economic problems and We treated the Lebanese interior for this purpose (as much as possible).
