An informed Iraqi security official reported that three Katyusha rockets hit the Al-Mansour area in Baghdad.
In an interview with Shafaq News, he stated that three Katyusha rockets were fired at Al-Mansour area this morning, one on Al-Niqabat Street near the Red Crescent Hospital, the other on Al-Emirat Street and near Hesar. The exterior of Bank Eqtesad (which is an abandoned building) and the third hit the beginning of the entrance of Al-Zaytoun Street inside a station of Al-Mansour Water Authority, and all three rockets exploded.
According to the source, the rocket attack did not cause any casualties and only material damage was inflicted on a civilian vehicle and the outer wall of the water department.
Eyewitnesses had previously reported several explosions in Baghdad's al-Karkh district and near al-Mansour.
