Saturday, 30 October 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 6,809 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Saturday that 6,809 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 1,083 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 6,809 COVID-19 infections and 128 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 5,916,211.”
128 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 126,126,” the ministry added.
“3,942 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 5,494,689 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
The ministry also added that more than 35,403,860 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country while warning that “22 cities are rated red, 114 cities are orange, 201 cities are yellow, and 111 cities are blue.”
According to the latest figures, more than 246,987,408 people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus globally, with the deaths standing 5,008,167 and recoveries amounting to 223,714,947.
