Despite the overwhelming acknowledgment of the failure of the so-called "maximum pressure" policy in the previous US administration headed by Donald Trump, the claims of former officials of that administration continue.
During a visit to the White House on Thursday, Trump's vice president Mike Pence claimed that current US President Joe Biden's efforts to revive the Iran nuclear deal run the risk of escalating further regional militancy from Tehran.
According to the Newsweek website, Pence, who attended the ceremony of the terrorist group of Monafeghin in Washington, said that Biden's support for the Iran nuclear deal is dangerous for the United States.
The website described Pence's presence at the conference as "a repetition of his belligerent stance on Iran.": Peace continues to come to power. By welcoming our current administration to JCPOA, their reluctance to condemn the firing of missiles on our beloved ally Israel, and their catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan, our enemies may feel the weakness of the current US administration.
Reiterating the flawed allegations against Iran, the former US Deputy Secretary of State said:
They may dare to test our determination and seriousness.
