Thursday, 28 October 2021 (YJC)_ Bagheri called the guarantee of non-repetition of the wrongdoing and illegal behavior of the other parties an unavoidable demand of Iran.
Ali Bagheri, the Deputy Foreign Minister, who is in Brussels, met at the EU Headquarters with Enrique Mora, Deputy Secretary General of the EU External Action Service, to discuss the effective lifting of sanctions and the commitment of other parties to their commitments.
During the meeting, the Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs stressed the need for years of experience in the implementation and eventual unilateral and illegal withdrawal of the United States from the JCPOA and the inaction of European countries in fulfilling their accepted commitments.
What matters to Iran is the effective lifting of sanctions and the normalization of trade and economic relations with Iran, and any agreement must meet Iran's demands in this regard.
Bagheri called the guarantee of non-repetition of the wrongdoing and illegal behavior of the other parties an unavoidable demand of Iran.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the main obstacles to the forthcoming talks and agreed to start talks in November.
