Thursday, 28 October 2021 (YJC)_ Spokesman for the Atomic Energy Agency said that the release of classified information and the disclosure of information to others had become a practice at the IAEA and should be stopped as soon as possible: We will definitely take steps to prevent this from happening.

Kamalvandi: Atomic Energy Agency to stop disclosing confidential informationBehrouz Kamalvandi, spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization, said about the publication of the International Atomic Energy Agency report and the release of some nuclear information:
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) occasionally submits reports that do not appear to be detailed.

A spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization continued:
Reports must be issued when a major change or deviation has occurred, and reporting and disseminating it solely on a country's nuclear technical activities is an unbelievable practice that, unfortunately, the International Atomic Energy Agency has been doing for a long time. Has already started.

Kamalvandi said:
We have objected to this issue many times in different circumstances and at different times, and the last time was in February last year in a full explanatory note on why the Agency publishes Iran's micro-technical activities.

He added:
Our arguments are varied and rely on Agency documents, including the Agency Statutes and the Safeguards Agreement with the Agency and the General Conference resolutions, which we have outlined in the Explanatory Note.

A spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization stated:
The International Atomic Energy Agency is responsible for two main tasks, one is to ensure that the activities of the member country are peaceful and not deviant; He has acted less, and Mr. Eslami has referred to and objected to this issue in his recent meeting with the Director General of the Agency.

Kamalvandi said:
The value of this information is mainly commercial and because it is technical, it should not be shared with others. Unfortunately, the agency did not comply with this issue and provided the valuable information in its possession in detail.

He continued:
If you go to the International Atomic Energy Agency website, we see that the same thing does not happen in other countries, and there are no detailed reports on the IAEA website, although access to this site is limited to member countries.
