Wednesday, 27 October 2021 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman said the message behind the meeting of Afghanistan neighbors hosted by Iran is to show opposition to interference of foreigners in Afghanistan.
In a message on his twitter account, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said the aim of hosting the meeting of Afghanistan neighbors hosted by Iran is to show opposition to interference of foreigners in Afghanistan.
“Lasting peace and stability depend on the fulfillment of the people's will,” he wrote while adding that “The aim of the Tehran meeting is cooperation and convergence of neighbors instead of competition.”
Khatibzadeh finally, named another message of the meeting is “Participation of all popular groups in the future political structure of Afghanistan,” and said “The meeting also rejects foreign interference in Afghanistan.”
Earlier on Tuesday, he announced that the second foreign ministerial meeting of neighbors of Afghanistan plus Russia will be held here on Wednesday.
