Tuesday, 26 October 2021 (YJC)_ Permanent Mission of Iran to the UN called for the international community to force Israel to account for human rights crimes.
In a statement, Permanent Mission of Iran to the UN said that the international community should force Zionist regime to hold itself accountable for its horrific crimes against humanity and the oppressed people of Palestine.
“The Palestinian people have long been victims of systematic, and widespread violations of human rights and humanitarian law by the Zionist regime,” an Iranian diplomat said in reaction to the report of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Occupied Territories.
“Live ammunition against civilians is an example of crimes against humanity,” he said while referring to the support of US in this regard and called it as “unwavering support”.
“Freedom of expression by intimidating, and detaining journalists covering human rights is also another thing that has ben long violated by the dictatorial regime of Israel,” he added.
He finally called the people living in the besieged Gaza Strip as the one who are considered to be the most oppressed people.
