Monday, 25 October 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 7,516 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Monday that 7,516 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 1,171 of which has been hospitalized
“A sum of 7,516 COVID-19 infections and 140 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 5,868,360.”
140 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 125,363,” the ministry added.
“4,256 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 5,429,982 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
The ministry also added that more than 34,867,146 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country while warning that “22 cities are rated red, 128 cities are orange, 215 cities are yellow, and 83 cities are blue.”
According to the latest figures, more than 244,585,102 people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus globally, with the deaths standing 4,966,932 and recoveries amounting to 221,580,079.
