Monday, 25 October 2021 (YJC)_ A senior member of the Iranian parliament criticized South Korea for freezing country's funds.
In his remark during an interview with Fars News Agency, A senior member of the Iranian parliament's Presiding Board Mojtaba Yousefi blasted South Korea for freezing country's funds.
He also said that “Reciprocal measures against Seoul is necessary therefore the current Iranian administration should adopt it.”
Previously, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Baqeri Kani made a relevant remark and said “To resist against the US pressures and return the Iranian frozen funds frozen is what South Korea can do to repair its ties with Tehran.”
South Korea owes Iran over $7bln for imports of energy that took place before the US imposed its unilateral sanctions on Tehran in mid-2018.
