Monday, 25 October 2021 (YJC)_ The United Nations has expressed grave concern over the Zionist regime's decision to issue a tender notice for the construction of Zionist units in West Bank settlements.

United Nations: All Israeli settlements are illegalThe UN envoy to the West Asian settlement process, Tor Wennesland, expressed concern about the announcement of a tender for the construction of about 1,300 new Zionist units in the West Bank, stressing that all Israeli settlements were illegal.

He expressed great concern about the Zionist regime's tender plan and the continuation of the regime's settlement development in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

According to the Arab 48 website, Wennesland added:
I reiterate that all settlements are illegal under international law and continue to be a major obstacle to peace and must be stopped as soon as possible.

The Zionist regime has announced a tender plan to build about 1,300 units in the West Bank, and in addition, it plans to build 3,144 new units with the aim of developing settlements.

The State Department of the Palestinian Authority also called the Zionist regime's plan to tender for the construction of more than 1,300 Zionist units in the West Bank "crossing the red lines."

Since the inauguration of the new cabinet of the Zionist regime, the regime has announced the construction of a number of new units and implemented several plans that were approved in the previous period.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has repeatedly stated that he does not accept a two-state solution.
