‌In this contact, our Foreign Minister noted that Iran is determined to further develop and deepen bilateral relations with the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also welcomed the positive steps taken by the two countries to resolve the misunderstandings, the release of the two Iranian drivers and the order of the relevant institutions in Iran regarding border traffic laws, a message from both sides to resolve Read misunderstandings.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister also described the definition of joint economic projects between the two countries as having positive effects and called for the activation of a joint economic commission between the two countries.

At the end of the call, the two sides agreed to continue consultations.
