Saturday, 23 October 2021 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Minister announced that nuclear talks with the P4+1 will resume soon.

Iranian FM: Nuclear Talks to Resume SoonIn his meeting with the new Secretary-General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Khusrav Noziri in Tehran Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian announced that nuclear talks with the P4+1 will resume soon.

He expressed his satisfaction with the implementation of some of the long-term infrastructure projects in the fields of transportation, trade, finance and banking in ECO and said “I hope that the unfinished projects would be completed during the new ECO secretary general's term.”

He went on to talk about the recent terrorist attack in Afghanistan and expressed regret over it.

 Elsewhere in his remarks, Iranian foreign minister referred to the recent talks with the European Union in Tehran and its continuation in Brussels and announced “Nuclear talks with the P4+1 will resume soon.”

For his part, Khusrav Noziri, said he is satisfied with his visit to Tehran and expressed his appreciation for the effective support of Iran during his election as the new ECO SG.

ECO Secretary General also emphasized the pivotal role of Iran in the ECO and asked for the country’s support to be remained so.

In response, Iranian foreign minister assured Noziri of the continuation of the support for ECO and expressed hope that important decisions would be taken at the upcoming ECO Summit to further develop regional cooperation.
