The Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, announced that she had consulted with Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid during a meeting last week to discuss the Iran nuclear deal and the consequences of the US withdrawal from the UN Security Council under the Donald Trump administration.
"We have good relations with Israel's allies," Pelosi, who spoke at a meeting of the Places Foundation, told a virtual meeting of the Plashers Foundation, according to the Jerusalem Post. Israel is one of our good friends, but they are still talking about what we should do.
Pelosi also said about the red line against Iran:
The withdrawal from the nuclear deal does not seem to have caused the Iranians to cross the red line.
The Speaker of the US House of Representatives also criticized Israel's relentless efforts against US policies in the field of Barjam and the lobbying of Tel Aviv-affiliated institutions in this regard.
