Friday, 22 October 2021 (YJC)_ According to recent studies, Iran major aluminum production showed a 23 percent hike as compared to same period of last year.
Recent studies have shown that Iran major aluminum production firms managed to produced 23% more aluminum in the first half of the year compared to same period of last year.
This study is conducted on four large aluminum production companies including Iran Alumina Company, Al-Mahdi Aluminum Production Co., IRALCO and SALCO and it is shown that they have managed to produced 260,679 tons of aluminum ingot in the first six months of the current year.
“14,527,920 tons of sponge iron are produced by major companies in mining and mineral sector in the first six months of the current year (March 21 - Sep. 21), which shows 6% decline compared to the same period of last year,” according to the study.
Iran has 81 types of various minerals in a way that country’s total proven mining reserves has been estimated about 60 billion tons at large.
