Anatolia news agency reported on Thursday that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoغlu spoke by telephone with his Iranian and Emirati counterparts on Thursday.
The news agency quoted the Turkish Foreign Ministry as saying that Çavuşo .lu met with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian to discuss regional issues, especially developments in Afghanistan and Syria, and bilateral relations.
A statement from the Turkish Foreign Ministry also said that Cavusoglu and Amir Abdullahian also discussed the future of Iran's nuclear program.
According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, the Turkish Foreign Minister also discussed bilateral relations with his Emirati counterpart Abdullah Benzayed Al Nahyan.
