Protesters chanted "work, bread and education" in front of the ministry on Thursday.

Following the fall of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, to the Taliban on August 15, the Taliban did not allow large numbers of girls and women to study or work, but allowed girls to attend schools in a limited number of provinces.

Not long ago, with the start of the new school year in Afghanistan, high school girls could not go to school. This provoked various reactions.

Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai, in response to the deprivation of girls from studying in Afghanistan, stressed that this issue must be resolved as soon as possible.

The Taliban, however, said it was seeking to create the conditions for girls to attend and continue their education in Afghanistan.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Qatar were among those who reacted.

Also, after the Taliban came to power, some institutions and departments announced that they would not go to their workplaces until further notice. Taliban officials said they would create the conditions for women to participate in society.
